DIET CHAMPAWAT is dedicated to prepare professionally competent humanitarian teacher for the all round development of children. DIET conducts different kinds of training (Pre-servive and In-Service) programmes, research and innovation in teaching learning process to improve the quality of basic education. DIET"S mission is "To provide academic and resource support at the grass roots levels for the success of the various strategies and programmes beings undertaken in the areas of elementary and secondary education"
Through specific responsibilities are arranged to each wing many of the programmes and activities of the DIET are conducted in co-ordination with other wings, Basic and secondary education department, SSA & RMSA. These departments are also running few quality improvement programmes with will named NGO‘s like APF, Room o Read and "Sampark foundations", etc. Each wings of DIET is headed by a senior lecturer and lecturers/ Faculty members supports and plans the activities.
