I am pleased here to say that today our institution stands as one of the leading institutions in uttarakhand. The credit surely goes to the dedicated faculty members, who pushed up their limits and worked hard for the betterment of the society. The quality, a essential element for education, is a key part of our curriculum.
The ubiquitous presence of derision, violence , religious fundamentalism ,parochialism, the ever increasing road rage the speedy marginalization of human life as against the material extravaganza and a host of other developments of like nature in the recent past ,at times trouble and trouble they do to the care where are we heading to ? Where and when will all this come to an end ? If ever a dawn it could be called ,what kind of a dawn is going to be for those yet in their formative years or poised to open their eyes in the happening expanse we call the world ? Have we really been a success in preparing them for the Kurukshetra that is their ultimate destiny ? I do feel ,and feel it quite intensely that with the passage of time our responsibilities in school have escalated manifolds. Of course ,we can't insulate or render immune the generation in hand from the massive invasion of information. The need of the hour is to equip them with a proper value system and time tested Sanskars so that they may have an intuitive realization of right and wrong desirable and undesirable ,to groom them as good human beings , prudent and sagacious enough to say a big 'no' to those mundane fascinations that turn out to be prime deterrents in touching the heights of morality. In the contemporary world when material aggrandizement is becoming more and more pronounced in the definition of success ,saving that very essence of humanity which a 19th century Victorian would prefer to term as the 'essential goodness of man- ' has indeed become a must . I sincerely wish ,we succeed in doing so.
